Does the light of fridge go off when you close its door?

My fridge in my B43 is a Frigomatic. I realized that there is no push button connected to the lamp or the door frame to turn off the light. Is this possible or I'm missing something.

Sounds like a metaphysical question! Yes the light does go off. There is a magnet in the door and a magnetic switch in the cabinet.

Unfortunately my light does not go off. I've put a camera inside to be sure. Closing the door didn't activate the magnetic switch in my case. Must be a failure.
