Did you check Group on SAIL PLANS AND CHARTS? some ideas there.
Yes I did earlier and seen none that were for sale. Thanks
Have you checked out the Erie Canal web site? There is loads of information, there.
I purchased Skipper Bob's Erie Canal book. Pretty cheap as I recall.
I did pick up one of the Skipper Bobs books on the canal at the Annapolis boat show. Also I have some charts that I have access to for use.
I may be able to help. I have a full chart book #14786 Recreational Charts published by NOAA; 11th Edition, and never used. Also have lot's of materials on all canals from NYS Thruway. Looks like I recieved everything in 1999. Back then I was boating in lower Hudson River in a Sea Ray and was planning on going thru the canal's; Never made it.
Now sailing on the Sound so I will never use any of these charts. Let me know if you still are in need, I know it's well past August.
Bon Voyage
