Heading to the Bahamas next month for the first time in our Beneteau, Oceanis 50.  Would appreciate any advise especially recommendations for guide books, maps & charts.

Thanks, Shelley

Don't leave the US without a copy of the Explorer Chartbook of the region you are visiting! Not enough detail in Raymarine electronic charts in some places...

We also carried a copy of the Pavlidis cruising guide for the Exumas and found it helpful: http://www.amazon.com/Exuma-Guide-Cruising-Approaches-Anchorages/dp...

Enjoy and post pictures!!

Thanks for the advise, really appreciate it.  Shelley, Knotta Yachta 2
