SeaKnots

My wife and I are looking for a sailboat that we can take from Puget Sound to South Alaska over about 3 years and then coastwise down to the Sea of Cortez for another 2 or 3 years, sailing and living aboard 5 months a year. Do you think that this would be a good boat for it? I've never heard of the builder. she seems well built. price is in the low $30s. Your input really appreciated since all my other boats have been made from trees.

I like the boat, use to own a westsail 32. Some complain that it can't go to weather, but it can if sailed correctly. If the boat is as sound as it looks, not a bad deal.

"Auto ascending setup is an interesting idea, though it takes a bit of fiddling around to get it right. Once it's dialed in, it actually works quite well."
