Hello,

I have just joined your group. I have an OCEANIS 43 hull n° 77 built in France. Hibernia is in the Med Coast of Spain.

I would like to exchange topics with all of you.

Welcome. I have a B 43, hull#9, made in South Carolina. It is berthed on the Gulf Coast of the US, near Houston Tx.
Foster welcome to the group. I have a 2008 43 hull #001. Currently she's still at the brokers yard. Once spring time areives we'll be keeping her in Baltimore, MD.
Hey Denis, where do you keep Hibernia in Spain? I grew up sailing in Costa Brava. That area is the best kept secret in cruising in the Med!
hi,

thank you for the greetings. i am in the bay of Rosas in a marina.

Hibernia will soon be pulled out of the water for paint and some improvements : Mastervolt alternator, batteries and converter. An arch with davits will be installed. If some money is left I will go for a watermaker. If you have ideas about this or about other subjects I will be happy. I am also very interested about the rudder and autopilot support problems. If you have a notice from Beneteau about this it would help me a lot.

Denis

can you tell me more about that rudder and autopilot problem please ?

Hi

Did Get Any Info On The auto Pilot Support Problem. . Crossing Biscay With A Following Sea And 20kt Wind, We heard Graunching Sounds From The Auto Pilot, And Saw That There Was some Movement Where It Was Supported On A Wooden Platfrom, Because It's,  Wooden Tightening The Bolts Squeezed The Wood, We Have Put In Two More Bolts But Are Still A Bit Nervous About Its Strength, Any one Any Thoughts Or Similar Experience ? PENNY

We `ll have our 40 in the middle of may 2009 ...
You get her in the middle of May, that's very good. Don't forget to share pictures when you get her.
Foster, I would like to know more about the arch you plan on installing. Is it acustom design from a local company or who supplied it?

Hi Denis
I have the only 43 in NZ with Hull 125 x Europe. I was thinking about an arch and would love a few more pics of yours showing some more detail, if you don't mind. Yours looks very cool.

Thanks and good sailing
Gavin
