ok...so we took the injector pump and lift pump and the  tranny oil heat exchanger to the shop today-  600 pesos  round trip---that is a lot of dough to   lug a part for rebuild. it is also   140 miles round trip--

javier--the awesomest pump rebuilder in   mexico. mebbe also in western hemisphere.

so far-----old water damage--salt variety --in  injector pump--cause unknown. grit and  crud in there--dirty as hail.  yes i always use a filter or    3......always.

we will see what this is   when we  retrieve it---

lift pump----screws broke off in pump--gonna have em drilled out.

heat exchanger--fell apart in  my  mechanics hands as we didnt  have salt water   zinc protection  installed when  we installed engine. this happens...

we will get these back in rebuilt condition  when my fone rings......is a mexifone, may not ever  ring--

guy does have a  new  injector pump in his display case--exactly what mine should look like--is gorgeous!!!!

and i would have to mortgage something big to buy that  at present--but i know where they live..lol

this is a lovely place to efect repairs---and is a good thing we   had to  rest here, as we would have gotten into hellatrouble  had we not.

this is a beautiful place
