SeaKnots

My daughter and I decided to meet up in Miami in the middle of November for vacation. (We are both flying - gratuitous remarks about windward 747s go here...) We are arriving around the 14th. So we are looking to meet up with folks, hopefully find some gentle soul who would like to take us sailing for a day, or a few days, interesting places to stay, things to do, etc.

I'd like to see a boat do a barrel roll, but I don't think I'd like to be on it at the time! :D

Now I think of it, there's a video of a 40 foot Coast Guard boat going out the Columbia River bar in a gale, getting through off a wave like a football but I don't recall if it is rolling or not.

We'd love to!! She is arriving the 14th, leaving the 23rd IIRC. I haven't set up flights but I'll try to do the same. We are also looking into one of the sailing schools that was suggested by someone (here or another forum?) - one of them has three day weekenders and five day trips as well.

Gary I might take pitty on your gentle soul and take you guys out sailing on Key Biscayne Bay. Let me know when you are coming. Word of caution,, beware I am a crazy women driver both flying and sailing. See my blog if you dare: http://www.sailblogs.com/member/revolution/
