Ay Jeepers Ka Deepers

Jeepers Creepers where did all this dirt and grime come from, not to mention leaves and trees and pollen, and weeds, and dirt, and boat scum? Yuk, I've spent more time cleaning this past week and I still have a long way to go. It all started when a friend agreed to help with yard work for a nominal fee. Three of us spent 8 hours raking, trimming, and carrying debri to the curb on a beautifully sunny day. I was so determined to get the yard clean I failed to take water breaks and by Monday…

That time of the year

Well, it's that time of the year we all look forward to. Friday we hauled S/V Anna Lynn, washed, sanded, on Saturday the first coat of bottom paint was applied, and today Sunday the second coat of bottom paint, touch-up to the boot stripe, and installed the zincs before being lifted into the travel lift. Tomorrow at 0730 it goes back into the water, turrns out to be a fast and furious four days. There is nothing like sailing on a boat after a new coat of paint, how it slides through the…

Passing up two opportunities to sail in local events that just a few months ago I would not have thought of missing made me realize what an addiction sailing can be. . .

As defined by my 1951 Webster's Dictionary an…

DOLPHN 40 AMP BATTERY CHARGER

Hello all.The Dolphin 40amp battery charger in my 2011 43 is charging well, EXCEPT the cooling fan is cycling on and off every 20 seconds or so. Volts and amps are correct  although there is red light top and centre flashing red, does not look happy. It seems as if the thermostat controlling the fan is not functioning correctly as the unit is not even warm.I cannot locate the Beneteau supplied manual, any clues as to the fault.Regards,Bilgolabands (Liberte)See More

"Hi Pete. Hope this finds you well. I sold the boat, due to a broken leg, that left  me handicapped.  I want to continue being on Seaknots, for pleasant reminders, and I thought of you. Be in touch, as I follow you in your adventures"
