Where are you headed next? Seems way to close to hurricane season to try to transit the canal - holing up in the Gulf of Ca for the season? Or headed downwind to Hawaii?

Ron:

What a great trip across the pond.  A bit more time than I can afford to spend (still work part-time) but it really sounds like  a good voyage.  Look forward to hearing about your exploits.

I also am looking for crew, I have the following trips planned, Hampton Va to the Azores late May via Bermuda aboard a Tayanna 40 I have three crew and looking for a fourth and fifth, boat is fully equipped, the second is from Hampton VA sometime in late August (I know right when hurricane season is ramping up), and eventually ending up in Port Camargue South of France, (Largest Marina in Europe, you could put three Newport Beach City Marinas inside and still have room to spare), that trip is on a Beneteau 50,stopping at Bermuda Azores, Gibraltar (clear EU customs and to see some old friends) then up to Port Camargue,  Deatils to be worked on an individual basis. have four including self but would be comfortable with five,

Glad to hear you are all sorted out for crew. I'm not available till summer :-(  Would love to catch up with you late summer in the (very far southern) Caribbean if you have space/need crew.
