SeaKnots

Hi all,

I am interested in meeting up to crew on daytrips or short 2-3 day sails. Experience is with warm water sailing, but would like to make new friends and meet people in the area.

Hi Kirsten,  I'm not in the Annapolis area, but at the head of the Chesapeake Bay.  I just hauled my boat yesterday and winterizing it now.  I do sail in Annapolis and belong to a yacht club.  During the season the season. I'm all over the Bay.  My boat is a Gemini Catamaran.  34'.  She is overloaded to even the Direct Tv.  Drop me a line sometime and still interested, think of me in the spring.

Joe

HI Joe,

Thanks for your reply.  Think of you in the spring?   Somewhere in the world it's warm. I'd love to hear more about your boat.  Annapolis just because it is probably the closest point on the bay to where I am.  I get down to Solomon's sometimes, and when I really need a fix, I'll head in my car back to where I used to live in DE- Lewes Cape Henlopen.  Thinking of heading way south after Christmas for a week or so.

"Auto ascending setup is an interesting idea, though it takes a bit of fiddling around to get it right. Once it's dialed in, it actually works quite well."

"Michael, From experience over three keel boats a fully battened main is almost a requirement. Not only will it make dropping the sail into the boom bag far easier it certainly reduces any flogging and vastly lengthens the life of the sail. While…"
