This is the first year we ever been to the boat show when we really didn't need anything.

We were going just to buy a new refrigeration system. While in Washington, DC we ended up buying it cheaper from a distributor than we could have gotten it at the boat show.

That was the only reason we were going but since we had budgeted the time we sailed down the Potomac and up to Annapolis for the show. We had a great time just running the aisles with friends. It even enabled us to head out during the show to get a jump on the trip south.

"Auto ascending setup is an interesting idea, though it takes a bit of fiddling around to get it right. Once it's dialed in, it actually works quite well."

"Michael, From experience over three keel boats a fully battened main is almost a requirement. Not only will it make dropping the sail into the boom bag far easier it certainly reduces any flogging and vastly lengthens the life of the sail. While…"
