I'm looking for a new loan on my 1983 Hunter 30. I've recently been through a divorce and don't have the best credit anymore.does anyone know where I can find a loan for this situation? I really would like to keep my boat.
Have you tried your local credit union(s) ? They are usually eager to provide a loan at decent rates provided you have a good out of water survey done & submitted to them. As a rule I have found that they really arent "sailboat savvy" -so they may or may not know what they are helping you finance. Keep your head up and your sails full of wind and you will prevail ..best of luck sir!
I found my car insurance was best price...I have 3 cars with them...Nationwide. I had first with my house ins Company State Farm, but found later Nationwide had a better quote,..Lola
