Yanmar 4JH5E Alternator

Does this 12V/80 amp alternator provide enough charging for our batteries?
2-160 amp house,1-100 amp starter and 1-200 amp extra house

If not, has anyone upgraded to a stronger alternator on a B40 with a Yanmar 4JH5E.

I think, I just burned out the alternator.

Will know more this week after my mechanic preforms the inspection.

It will if you do a lot of motoring every day, but if you like to hang on the hook for a few days it wont get the job done. I upgraded to an ElectroMaax 140amp alternator driven by a serpentine belt and controlled by a Balmar 614 regulator. It feeds a Trojan T105 6V battery bank of 450 ahr. We can stay out for 4-5 days without an issue. If we want to stay out longer than that we need to add some help from a solar set up and/or Honda portable generator like James Taylor has.
