- I write nautical suspense fiction and while I used to live aboard my Caliber 33 TALESPINNER in Fort Lauderdale, I've recently moved into a studio. I've cruised off and on for more than 30 years in the North and South Pacific, the Atlantic and the Caribbean. These days I teach English at Broward College for 9 months of the year so that I can cruise for 3 months in the summer.

I like your photo entry; so simple, so beautiful being out on the water in the calm of a morning sun or evening moon. Wish I could have joined you on your cruise from Abaco to NC. My summer was a 'stay home' and plan for next year,,,,,,,Sail safely and hope to x paths again, soon!

How's Ft. Lauderdale these days. I sure hope your new book comes out soon. I'm out of reading material. Do you have any authors you would suggest with novels like yours. I really like the ones that use water, island and boats as part of the story. Any great plans for sailing this summer?
