Cruising in South East Asia

Has anyone out there had experience in cruising in SE Asia? We're thinking of chartering in Thailand, probably Phuket. We have 2 children: 3 and 4 years old. WE've chartered a dair bit in various parts of the Carribean but never Asia.

If you have then we'd love to hear about lessons learned, fascilities, safety, tips etc.

It took me a long time to come back to this as we decided to go sailing in Europe instead. It's now time to try Thailand. I've received quotes from a couple of companies: A2A, and Eden yachting. Has anyone out there chartered from either of these companies before and can recommend?
