Does anybody know if you can repair seals on a compass bubble.
I have a 4.5 inch Danforth Compass in a binnacle and I think the seal got frost bite!

Thanks, good to know. I found a company in Novato, Calif. called NorCal Compass. I will be delivering my compass this weekend and they seem to think they can repair it. Once the work is done I will make a recommendation

Do you have a number for Viking Instruments?
I looked it up on internet

781-585-2100
Hal McCormick is in the north bay area and I think he can do repairs as well as swing the compass in your slip. Check out his small ad in Latitude 38
Thanks Steve
Drove to Novato last weekend and visited with Hal. Good guy knowledgeable but unable to repair the compass. I am now in the market for a Ritchie Compass for replacement
