Were these people delivering this boat for an owner, not on the boat? Do you mean to tell me one can expect your delivery people to do major repairs on a boat in transit that should have been done before the trip? That boat needed a boatyard FIRST. They did the correct thing , bringing it back to port.

Yeah, I was wondering why they didn't send someone up the mast steps earlier. My thought is they all got "pissy" and nobody did much of anything. Also think none of them really had any clue as how to fix anything & if they wiped up the diesel more would have leaked in so they said screw it.
