Hello Franc.. We are the proud new owners of Norma'l Sea (previously Drac Verd I), re-named after my husband's wonderful mother Norma. No worries about re-naming superstitions, because we had a complete and official re-naming ceremony a few days before we left Riverside NJ. We are now in the same marina as Drac Verd II. What a small world! Wishing you happy sailing on your new boat.. ~Gail~

Franc/Andrea,
Any chance you can move my old stuff (i.e. comments) to our new "Chuck and Sandra" profile?

The comments and discussions I had were all deleted when I deleted my profile.

Gracias por la bienvenida, Franc. Me tengo que ir acostumbrando a usar esto, que estoy un poco pez, pero poco a poco me irá animando más.

Un abrazo,

Franc, Wednesday I went by Winters & picked up the "stuff", thanks . Thursday, I helped deliver a 37' Hunter from NJ to the Chesapeake. I just came home. A lot of boats were going down the Delaware Bay yesterday on their way north. This was the first wave of snowbirds.

We have a slight delay this season. After the encounter with the bridge last fall, it has been determined that the mast needs to come down. We need to rewire the radio antenna and anchor light. Looks like we be able to get in the water the week following Memorial Day. How about you? Are you bringing the boat up to Jersey City this weekend?

Yes, this weekend we will take pictures plus I owe Brian a picture for Winters new owners page on their website.
What is the font of Drac Verd? Times New Roman?
I doctumented the boat with the USCG as Drac Verd so the other one would need to be Jr? LOL.
I need to replace the stern name with 4" letters.
Do you have a higher resolution picture of your dad's boat?
Could you email a pic of Can Drac when the name is applied?
I want to display pics of the dynasty in my home.

Hi Franc,

I guess I'd recommend the first one of my books, SURFACE TENSION, and then to read the rest of them in the order I wrote them. They all are about the world of boats, but none are truly about sailing. The one I'm writing now will be, though.

I'm read L.M. Lawson too. Love her stuff. Have you read Paul Garrison? His are good, as are Sam Llewellyn's.

Fair winds,
Christine

Thanks for the friend add. Wish I could put together a page as awesome as yours. Maybe next month when I head to the Abacos, I'll have time to play around with this site.

Fair winds!

Planning on getting the boat in the water in early May. I bottom painted and compounded the topsides the past two weekends. Just need to sort out a few more things when we get back from our visit with Dan and Michael. We are heading down to St. Martin Apr 9th thru 16th with Jeff and Lynda. We'll have to plan a trip to the sound ... maybe Memorial Day weekend.

Thanks. That is the National flag of Wales. The Name of the boat is Pendragon. We were getting the spectators on the canadian shore all fired up, enen though we are from Detroit. There is a large Welsh and Scottish community in that area of Canada. Fun Day.
