Sailor
Homeport:
Fort Myers Beach, Florida
About Me:
I am the son of a sailor from New York.and I have settled here in South West Florida. It is a nice home base for me, not too far from the Caribbean. I have a small boat maintenance business here and I play with a wonderful band on the beach a few nights a week. Life is simple.
My vessel is a Heritage West Indies 36 and now it is time to plan my next cruise. Any suggestions??? :)
Destinations visited:
My most adventurous sail was my voyage from Grand Bahama to Tortola BVI, non stop six days and nights. We had a cold front stall on us the forth day out. 15' and 35 mph for 40 hours. We left with a nice weather window but they do not last forever.
Other destinations visited are The Long Island sound,Block Island, The Cheasapeke bay, Norfolk, Bahamas and the Florida Keys.
Looking to:
Make friends and maybe more.

Gary, Ya quit when the going was good from BVI's down thru the Leeward and Windward Islands. From Granada to S. America you will find very good cruiseing grounds. If the Bulivar is still good for US dollars take the Trip to Angel Falls. Los Roques is still one of my favorite places to cruise and all the Islands are still bare of Humans.
