minding my own business, as usual, and   was a t a neighbors watching a yannie voices concert, eating pizza.. was awesome!  went home and got ready  for night--heard loudnessa nd disruptiveness......  was a panga with a rack on it loitering and calling out the neighbor immediately next door.   he was at work, and the  guys knew it, seems....that was 2345.

 at 2400, they returned-- i had just  gottn into my  bed--AGAIN-- with lights out and  quilt almost to myneck,  same engine  outside, really slow... ok i am on htis--out the door with a louisville slugger gaff and a flashlite---- shined on them the light, hollered to  them  to leave  here-- saw my engine --outboard on transom for stowage- had been kesed with---  dressed me self in the darkest warmies i hve and  3 dark dark blankies,  flashlite, headlamp, can of  carb cleaner spray and batgaff... waited and watched for 2 hours--nada... whew---- neighbor came home from work, guard passed by-- safe, now... went to bed.   nexttime i will bring a camera and a lighter--same other stuff....... whe--i still havemy outboard and nothing else has been  attempted ....yet---we will watch tonite........ i think  LA LOCA may be safe now--lol-

-i heard them calling that i was waiting for them..... hhmmmmmm

managed to get to  mazatlan before my friends leave for sd..LOL--they have much good advice and  info  to follow and  grow on.... will be loooking forward to finding  the many things  i have been told about-- is cheap to eat here-- club nautico is 5 dollars per day to land a dink, inclusive if showers and  wifi and such-- nki docks here--we at anchor and loving it.  for hurrycame season i have been advised that marina mazatlan is a good  hiding place, if behind the condos where wind doesnt blow as hard...... we shall see...

try and leave a few nights earlier, and unannounced, than th checkout date, so in case theyre waitin to try somethin offshore.

seems i did the right thing-- they did not return..i also hid my outboard--- life is full of adventures and is just how we deal with them.lol. can be a lot of fun even tho scary and weird...

 It appears the adventure is on.    Please keep posting, am enjoying your adventure while landlocked in Iowa,  waiting for the rains to stop and the river to receed a bit.   Sail on Sailer.
