Be Careful who you do business with.

Well, this is a first for me, never before have I felt the need to let everyone know about a marine hardware company who will take advantage of you. Back in Jan. of this year I ordered some stainless vent cowls from Blue Water Hardware, located out in CA., and at first I was double charged, after calling and e-mailing for 1 1/2 months got response to billing issue and asked why I have not received order, told billing issue resolved order on it's way, well guess what? order was not shipped, and after going through the same BS, I did get a delivery missing parts and two vents of different colors, (what a mess). Needless to say, I sent the order back and it's now 5 months since this evolution has started and I have still not got my refund of $251.74 form Blue Water Hardware. So, moral to the "sorted" story is, this is not a company to be doing business with on the internet... the service is really bad,(if you can get Scott to answer the phone), and no quality control with the products they send. If there is a problem, it is next to impossible to talk to anyone or much less get your money back...now you are most likely wondering about the assistance you can get from your credit card company, well they are not much help either, I am still sending them information weekly, because they never seem to have enough.... discussion for another day.. but bottom line, I recommend that you do not order anything from "Blue Water Hardware" in CA. you are taking a risk of not getting what you think you are ordering, and customer service does not exist.... well I said it all, really want to make sure no one else goes through what I have experienced for two simple vent cowls,,,,at a point it becomes a "principle" type of thing, if you know what I mean??

I appreciate all your comments, I just hate getting "ripped-off", sure don't want anyone else to experience this, even if only for $251........we kind of all need to stick together.....
