Vacation is just plain Vacation....

well, S/V Anna Lynn is sitting here in Palafox marina, Pensacola Florida watching one massive thunder storm coming our way. Great time to be moored-to and running both air conditioners,,,,LOL, rest of our cruising group is moored in Little Sabine Bay getting ready for the weather... got to love Vacations, esp. when you can get lucky and miss some of the bad weather....................

Any Day on the water is a good day.....LOL

Well, flirted with "mother nature", today and pulled this one off, you have to be very careful, and not get too cocky, because you know what could happen. There was a storm brewing today, and we had to make a run for the harbor, we've all been "here" before, ie, trying to beat the weather and make "safe harbor" before all H... breaks loose. What a Day!!!!!

Well, today was a great day for a sail, winds out of the north 20-25 knots, and S/V Anna Lynn was like a race horse just let out of the barn after a long winter... what a rush!!!!!.....
Speeds of 7.1-7.5 were the normal all day long, with only main and Genoa.... just think if we had the mizzen and staysail out........

Be Careful who you do business with.

Well, this is a first for me, never before have I felt the need to let everyone know about a marine hardware company who will take advantage of you. Back in Jan. of this year I ordered some stainless vent cowls from Blue Water Hardware, located out in CA., and at first I was double charged, after calling and e-mailing for 1 1/2 months got response to billing issue and asked why I have not received order, told billing issue resolved order on it's way, well guess what? order was not shipped, and… Continue
