Profile Information

Profile Type:
Sailor
Homeport:
Delray Beach
About Me:
I first started sailing on Biscayne Bay in the mid-80s. Unfortunately, I've never had sufficient continuous water time to be "expert", but I'm good crew and LOVE to sail! I learned to sail by racing with WYRA, but have become more of a cruiser - just enjoy being on the water, or messing around boats.
Destinations visited:
I've been sailing in the Florida Keys, Biscayne Bay, Bahamas, BVIs.
Looking to:
sail locally, learn to dock... ( in all my sailing I've nver had the helm to dock), and always learn and enjoy...
I've enjoyed chartering in the BVI's twice and would love to hook up with some people for some weekend or vacation sailing.

Hi there, on the contrary, I still tell people what a great trip it was. I'm especially fond of telling them that it was the women that were the sailors, while the 2 guys were along with the gals.. I just seem to get caught up in work, taking care of my mom, who is now 89, and life. I am sorry, but I don't think I got the email. I've popped on the yahoo scene a few times, but it seems if you don't keep on it, its hard to follow the track. how is everyone? any more trips planned? Are any of the others on here?

Hey Pam
I assume this is pseudo private email. Thanks for your email or comment. Rock Hall is in or on the eastern shore of Maryland. Unfortunately I will be in Phila this winter instead of being in the Bahamas or points south as any intelligent person would seek. It isn't that I don't know better, but circumstances dictate. Anyway south is in my future. You look interesting. I have hopes of visiting Florida this winter. Let's try to hook up then; I'll keep you posted.
