Nice assortment you've got there. I'm currently down to just three guitars (all 6's): my trusty Yamaha jumbo (looks and sounds very much like the Gibson J-200), an Ovation shallow-bowl cutaway acoustic/electric, and an Ibanez solid-body electric informally known as the "lawsuit" or "patent infringement" model (for its unabashed copying of the Gibson Les Paul). Then, in the event I get bored with the guitar (perish the thought!) I also have two banjos, a Dobro, and an autoharp. I've been a folkie, a rocker, and now I'm just a guitarist and singer, cranking out any tune that happens to come to mind on a moment's notice.

If you're so inclined, why not sign on to the new "Sailors with Guitars" group on SeaKnots?

Hi, Doc. I was just up in your area last week, making what's become an annual visit to Milford Landing Marina. Sometime perhaps you'll make your way down to Jersey City and stop in at Newport Marina for a visit. Hopefully you'll have a guitar on board. (I always do.) Cheers, mate...
