- This is the hard part. I lived on my 32' Hunter on Lake Conroe for 2 years. I loved every minute of it. Due to some unforeseen problems, I had to move back to dry land. But, I vowed that as soon as I retire in about 6 years, I'm buying another boat and spend the rest of my life sailing around the Gulf of Mexico & maybe beyound.
