Hi Brandon,

I have a Cascade 36 and have been traveling for the last 2+ years.  I recently saw your request for pictures of the orgiginal wood boom.  I have several pics of my boom which had the original roller gear replaced, but otherwise is the way they were set up.  I replaced my wooden spruce boom with an aluminum boom shortly before launching and taking off.  If you still want pictures let me know.  I will be leaving in a few weeks for Chile and probably not have internet after leaving.  Mine is a great ocean boat and a pleasure to sail in all conditions.

Enjoy,

Brian

Brandon, Cascade Yachts was bought by an outfit in Astoria, OR. I forget their name but you can find them thru a Google search. They may have the records from the Cascade Yachts files. Have fun with your 36. They're a great boat.
