Brian, ye any idea when ericson painted there mast black, as mine is? Friend had asked me this once and I doesnt have a clue. He addressed it as trivial.

The "T" is actually for Trunk cabin model.The original 34 was 34X and built as a flush deck. I believe that there were about 10 of those built. The boat performed well and they offered it as a trunk cabin version. There is some confusion with the "T" as the trunk cabin model had a two foot shorter mast, but could also be had with the longer racing version mast. The confusion is in the "T" for Tall rig as it is more commonly used to represent today.
