So far so good. We get along well, and Kat is fine with me. Karen seems to attract all the bugs, so they bite her and leave me alone. LOL Currently in Wolf Bay, just a couple miles west of the Fla. line. Waiting out a little line of thunderstorms, then to Pensacola. About three or four hours. All the buddy boats we have been loosely running with are now headed home, so after Pensacola will be on our own and alone. Had an interesting thing happen after coming out of Mobile Bay. Was coming up behind a tug with a string of five barges. Called him on the radio and told him I was coming around on his port side. ( one whistle) He said come ahead, so off I go. After a few minutes, I was gaining very slowly, and realized that I would not get clear of him before we came to a left turn in the ICW. Dropped back, told him I didn't want to be beside him in that turn, and would pass after we got around the corner. The guy actually stuck it in reverse and stopped, says go ahead. Have never had that happen before.
