Let's talk about insurance

I'm currently insured through Boat US. Their coverage is fine for the US and Bahamas. Since we're considering doing the ARC to Europe in 2011, they won't provide coverage. I'd like to know what others out there are doing for coverage?

We just did the ARC Europe rally and used IMIS. We actually found our agent on SeaKnots: Susan.

I'd be very interested in hearing your thoughts on the ARC event, good and/or bad. Who provided weather forecasting? Was it adequate and timely? How many boats were in the fleet? Thanks, Jay
