the brushes are pneumatic and were very very hard on my bottom paint---removing the paint in a pattern that is unmistakable. i fired my dive company for forcing my boats into the program of using the brushes as it required me to have to haul my boat twice as ofter as i had planned--i donot haul every year....no reason for me to do that...i do my waterline my self and have a diver dive the keels and rudders and place zincs...i also only use plastic scrapers and plastic hand brushes on the waterline as i have found the metal ones cause greater damage than is really necessary. my divers do the work nicely without ruining my fiberlass and without removing all my bottom paint in one treatment. it is very very difficult to hold on to the pneumatic brush machine while diving under a boat hull---your boat is a ship---very large for hand tools.....also is steel so might have a different effect on your boat than on mine-----if you have any doubt, try them once and see if the results meet your approval---everyone has different needs when it comes to underwater work....

"Auto ascending setup is an interesting idea, though it takes a bit of fiddling around to get it right. Once it's dialed in, it actually works quite well."

"Michael, From experience over three keel boats a fully battened main is almost a requirement. Not only will it make dropping the sail into the boom bag far easier it certainly reduces any flogging and vastly lengthens the life of the sail. While…"
