I live in NYC and am having a difficult time finding bareboat charter companies in the area. I'm happy to drive a bit if need be. Does anyone have suggestions?

The only real place to day or weekend charter a sailboat is Nelson Sailing Center in Toms River, NJ, It is about 40 mins away from the city.. Becareful what boat you charter, some are in good shape so not so good shape.

Hi Ross,

I am captain of the S/V Splendido, a 57' Beneteau available for captained charter based in Stonington, CT. We visit all the surrounding ports including Block Island, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket. We usually charter on a weekly basis although shorter charters are also available. If you may be interested go to our website at www.splendido57.com for more information. As a fellow Seaknots member we will give you a 10% discount off our charter rates.
