My husband and I cruise (and race lightly) with our two daughters on our C&C 115. I married into sailing, never having set foot on a sailboat before meeting my husband, but love the sport and have been blessed with the amazing friendships sailing has brought to our lives.

Even though I live in Michigan I've been fortunate to crew often (every other year or so) for a boat out of Kirkland (Carillon Point--Ceilidh, a 41 ft Tartan). Just came back from a crew segment from Friday Harbor to Blind Channel. Have also been up to Barkley Sound with the same boat. I loved that area. You're lucky to be a sailor and live in the Pacif. NW
