I guess the yawl sails the same as a ketch. Sail it quite a bit with just mizzen and genny. Sometimes I'm just too lazy to to put up the main. You know how the wind pipes up here in the afternoon.

I love my Pearson.For 2 years I was in Oriental,NC.Great sailing area-but also very remote area.This is the 2nd 42 ft sailboat I moved from Oriental to Myrtle- Coquina.Other boat after 2 years Myrtle moved it to Hilton Head- Skull Creek[2 years] then back to Charleston-Hilton hotel and Marina.Myrtle's a great place for golf,restruants,neat harbor,sailing to Baldhead Island,up to Wilmington,Cape Lookout,Charleston,Georgetown.Slips avail at lightkeepers where I am-right now.I'm not a liveaboard.Significant other{Darlene] and I live and work in Raleigh but are down every weekend.would like to retire but have a great job with travel.And own too many properties. Single handing the sail back from Bahama's. Photo was crossing from N.W. channel light to Hens & Chickens and accross to Ft. Pierce. Great sail with 15 to 18 knt winds and 4 to 6' seas
