Hi Lola, I like your yawl running under spinnaker. Good movement. Well done. The only suggestion for improvement I can make is on the photography: take photo from directly above, avoiding shadows, of course. When aiming in the viewfinder make sure the edges of the painting are parallell to the edges of the viewfinder, then you will be sure to be square on.
Let's see more.

Yes, I need to improve that...I think I will stand the pieces up from now on. I use a black fabric on the front porch floor. I'm short. I could stand on a stool too..
I normally photograph my paintings by placing them on the floor and bend over them. No fabric need, as you can cut off unwanted edges by computer, useing a digital camera. Quite easy.

I guess I don't want to sacrifice any edge of the art is why I do it..but I will try to do better...always room for improvement. Are you working on anything new?
As I live in Sardinia, I'm keen on Sardinian culture and currently I'm doing some historical based paintings on Sardinian emigration. A Sardinian association in Australia said they need this material for a book they are publishing, so I am making some trials for them. I would be good to have something published for the first time.
Next month I am back on the boat which is in Turkey and expect to get to do some boat paintings again.

Hi there,
I haven't painted in quite some time. Life and some health issues had me subdued for a while.. LOL
This summer I'll take my water colours on board with me. I have so little space on my small CS22, don't know where I'm going to fit in art supplies but I will somehow.
i JUST SAW WHAT YOU LOADED IN OUR GALLERY...WOW
They are great, and beautiful...sizes and media would be nice in future or you can go ahead and state in separate message on gallery page.
