Solidarity at Puerto Deportivo Juan Montiel
Can Drac Fran & Andrea Carreras s sailboat, coming from United States arrives to Juan Montiel Marina in Águilas. This young couple, from Barcelona and Long Island respectively, decided to leave New York and to live their passion for the sea supporting to the NGO Charity:Water. The objetctive of CHARITY: WATER is provide to the populations of developping countries with potable water and counts with more than 1,240 projects all around the world.
As they transit by the new marina of Águilas, the navigators took the opportunity to promote their initiative in the regional and local mass media. After almost 6 months, crossing the Atlantic, from Florida, the Bermuda, the Azores Islands and Portugal, they declared to be very happy for sailing by the waters of the Mediterranean Sea and communicated their gratefulness to all the team Juan Montiel Marina for their collaboration and support to this humanitarian initiative.
