I bought it from a man who had it on Tawas Bay for a dozen years, but the originial owner was on Lake St. Clair (his name is somewhere in my documentation, but I can't think of it now). I have no idea how old my sails are, but they're holding up really well.

I used to crew for a racing boat at a club near Windsor, Ontario aboard an Abbott 33'. We mostly did club racing on the Detroit River, but also sailed races and regattas on St. Clair. Lots of fun. But since I bought my boat I mostly cruise around the Monroe, Michigan area of Lake Erie.
