Thank you! I am planning some local norteast (LIS and Newport) sailing for the next couple of years. I need to finish some long overdue repairs. I hope to go south in 3-4 years and then continue....

Nope it is a Horstman 46, and she sails like the wind. It is also pretty comfy to live aboard with 5 double staterooms. Also unlike the Cross trimaran's there is no break in the deck to trip you when handling the main.

Hola, como estas? I certainly do know Callee-she was my friend and we also worked together on the Schooner Wolf...I haven`t seen or talked to her in 13 years, but have often wondered about her. How do you know her? Zandy was just five then...You have had an interesting life...I want to sail until I die too...Buenas noches capitan, Cathleen

Hey, cap'n! Change the the "having" to "had" and you're dead on. The boat is on the hard (or awaiting haulout), so more fun on the water will have to wait a little while. Thanks for checking in. See ya 'round.

Yeah, in the Navy, back in the olde daze, it was called a truckers hitch, but I'd already known it as a C&^&% Ash Come Along!
I like your "Who Dat" picture with the guys in paper bags. LOL. That was a gag with the New Orleans Saints here a few years ago.. They were so bad that folks went to the games in paper bags so they'd not be identified!

Costa Rican law is probably protectionist to do many things. The environment is very important to the people and government of CR Immigration control is another issue. I'm sure there's a source of Costa Rican law that would define the perameters aside from hiring a lawyer to discover the limitations. Certainly to start a buisness or buy property that hiring a local lawyer is a key component.
In my opinion, those laws are probably very good, otherwise they would end up like Stock Island near Key West.
And yes, I did see the Yacht Racing Video on _/)ances With Sails. Awesome!

Yes I want to go to Costa Rica again. It is beautiful there. I would like to be a live aboard there...but seems not allowed...it is all tied up to having to buy a condo that has a slip provided....can't just buy a slip...why don't you
you figure out how it can be done. Fabio is one of those brokers, trying to sell these condo packages...the place is full of them. be in touch

The Morning Light movie was excellent.
I coached one of the watchcaptains, Chris Schubert and know Piet Van Os as he was on the competing team from California Maritime in our races in Annapolis.
Piet is a great guy, and when I found out that he was applying for the ML crew, I knew he and Chris were going to be successful.
I met the TP52 Morning Light's boat captain, Ed, who was one of the trainers in Hawaii & California. Great guy.
Congratulations to Roy Disney and Robbie Haines and everyone involved for getting this project to fruition.
