Yeah, it a good season for boat fixing and not so hot for sailing! That's great you're getting so much done and at least not stifling hot. I've always found Oct. the best sailing month here anyways, usually nice wind and warm enough days/cool nites. U still looking to spend the winter in Newport??
Hey Sailor! How's the boat work coming? You getting to sail at all? I sailed out of wharf marina last couple of weeks, looked for your boat kinda..as we drove down. Are you at that Brewer's?? Terri
LOL, u r not kidding, watched two boats on the bay, one having trouble, sailing with a jib. I spent the day with best friend lying in the cockpit in the sun (in a hoodie..lol) saying, "now this is how to spend Mother's day"! I looked on Defender...don't think i saw a 9.9 extra long shaft listed.
Wow, end of July! I'm in as of last tues. Need a new o/board (long story). May try the Newport boat show. U know where any Yamaha dealers are in the area? Looking to get a 9.9 4 stroke, power thrust, elec start, power tilt...will also blow dry my hair and paint my toes..lol..geez!!!! Check out my pics on profile, only took me hours to do, being so technically challenged! Was down there today, muggy, drizzly, foggy...got to love it! rigging her next sunday.
ahh, the humidity,,,3 hrs west makes a different -feels better, looks better, smells better. The heat though, no problem. Couldnt do zero dergrees. Im sure of that. Ye can only put on so much clothes when its cold, but in the heat ye can take it all off.
we'll I took a shot on guessin 35mm, with yer dedication, wasnt going to undermind ye. I use a descent cheap camera, fuji A340, ye have to stand still (photographer and the subject) or the image blurs but the parameters are marginal. Is nice to not have to develop a 12 roll for two shots.
Good Morning! That's SAGA, our Pearson Alberg 35. (1964). We sailed her from the SF Bay to Florida. Cruised for about 4.5 years. We sold her about a week before Hurricane Wilma! We're looking for an affordable cruising cat now. Preferably a Privilege 39!

Do you think I have room for the dual filters in front of the tank?
