Hi Rebecca,

Great stories in the boating magazines, and a very nice boat as well.

Thanks,

Hi Rebecca, I believe that we may have the same boat. Mine is a 1974 model that was originally marketed as 30/32, and as you know later evolved into the 32C with the taller mast. There is a line drawing on this web site in the picture section of most of the Bayfield family. Mine draws 3'9", perfect for the waters around Pcola, Mobile, and Perdido bay. I've owned her for about 4 years now, replaced most mechanicals, installing A/C this winter and doing a little cabnet work. Get your map out,...I'm just inside Perdido Pass on the Alabama Gulf Coast. I'm on duty now at the FD, planning a weekend trip with some friends to Pcola Beach on Friday. Where are you now?

Hi, glad to see another Bayfield owner on here. I sail in Lake Erie from Harbor View Yacht Club when the water is not "hard", you know ICE. I have had 2 Bayfields and ever since I saw one back in 1980 have wanted no other boat.

Rebecca,

Nice boat, I love the Bayfields. There's something about a small boat with a bow sprit / pulpit. There is a 29 Bayfield at my marina that I have been coveting for as long as my boat has been there.
Thanks for the articles.
