Hello Bobbi;
There are no EMD's in the photos but you are close the photo of just the two engines are my favorites,Fairbanks Morse-38D-8 1/8 X10 opposed pistons, 1600 Horsepower each the photo that I think you are in reference to is the one with me standing (lovingly) between two of the four Cleveland Diesels 12-278a's
these were the predicessors to the EMC's wich became EMD.Its nice to know that you have some idea of these magnificent Engines.
How did you achieve this knowledge ?

Hi Bobbi. Bequia is one of my favorite places. I will probably be here and the Tobago Cays for most of a month if a storm does not chase me south. Next I will go down to the south coast of Grenada and probably stay there for a month before going to Trinidad where friends are planning a birthday party for me in early October.

Hi. Thanks for responding. We will definitely be passing your way enroute our home port in NC. Our plan is to head back in 3 to 4 weeks. I was in the navy and stationed at Norfolk so we sailed around your area quite a bit. We miss Tidewater. Are you currently sailing?

Presently I have a Bayfield 25, small boat but a ton of fun. Need a shallow draft around Toledo. Many times I am one of the few sailboats that can leave the club docks when we have strong winds that blow the water away from the west end of Lake Erie.

Hi, I was down to New Port News in June and usually visit around there and Cape Hatteras every year. What make of boat do you sail?
