SeaKnots

Sailing has taken me many places and now I'm publishing sea stories (my own and others) through Shipyard Press, a publishing company I started in 2005. Shipyard is a publishing company for this new electronic age. I print books on demand, there is no upfront cost from authors and nobody is telling you what or how to write, it just has to be good, readable, page turner material. Illustrations and photos are OK and the books can be in full color or B&W. Covers, front and back are always full color.

Printed books are sold through Amazon, electronic books through Kindle, Nook, e-pub and Apple store. You set the price, Shipyard handles the publishing, layouts, final edits, ISBN numbers (you own the copyright), cover design and distribution. You and Shipyard Press split the net profit 50-50 for the first three years then you get 100%.

Your job is to write books (content) that will sell. My job is to get them to market.  Interested? Call or email me at

editor@shipyardpress.com or call my cell, 828-808-8768
