OMG - Chapter 4 Year 2 Day 6 February 12, 2014

Getting on the internet here at Staniel Cay in the Central Exumas has been a patient challenge. Finally, perseverance paid off. Today was the first time I literally took the plunge. About an hour ago I could no longer resist the crystal clear water. With the clean sandy beach a mere 4 feet beneath my 'bottom' I set out a chicken line because the current looked swift and it makes safety sense.

Then, I descended the stern ladder. Before I stepped down onto the second rung, impulse took over and I gracefully laid back until I was completely submerged. It felt so good. For whatever reason my first thought was to send a certain sunfish/j24 sailing guy a text letting him know I went for my first skinny dip, alone in this tropical paradise.

All accounts are that the Bahamas are the most beautiful in the world. I'll save the detailed exploring for when I connect with the mate of my dreams. Til then, I will pursue my other dream of sailing westward through the Panama Canal. Hell, I made it this far.

Whew, I just had to get that chatter out. Now, I am going to see about uploading some pix. I'll do a second entry so as not to mess up this post.

PS - The reference to Chapter, Year, Day and Date are for my future book writing plan,,,,,When I retire from cruising,,,,and am sitting on some beautiful scened piece of property looking out the window of my one room Yurt,,,,,maybe on a mountain top, maybe in a forest, maybe on a tropical island, maybe- maybe- maybe
