After years of helping fellow cruisers with their computers and Wi-Fi questions in the Caribbean I am starting a small business to sell Wi-Fi systems for boats that really work!

Here is my new web site address www.wififorboats.com. Please have a look and if you have suggestions please do not hesitate to make them!

One of my friends saw me testiing a new system in Rodney Bay, St. Lucia. Tito called me and ask me if he could try it. So I took the equipment over to his boat and we hoisted the system up his flag hallyard and went below and were playing around on the internet when Roberta came back to the boat. She got on Skype and talked to her children then realized that she had not been able to that before and ask Tito what he had done.

Tito said he was evaluating my new Wi-Fi antenna and it seams to work much better than his old one. Roberta said I can't believe I can call the kids from here! Dalton, just leave it here and looked a Tito to pay me for it right then and there!

Two days later they were talking to fiends about in and Lee called me on the radio to see if I had another. It was on their boat the next day.

Since then word of mouth has resulted in three more systems being installed on boats in the Caribbean. To keep up with request I came back to the US to setup being able to sell these systems while I am in the Caribbean.

I would like to help others so I have wirtten the web site www.wififorboats.com and look forward to helping many more cruisers with Wi-Fi systems that really work.

"Hi All, french built 2010 43 has been very dry down below but now a slow leak has occurred which is showing at the limber holes under the floor board in forward cabin. Bilge pump goes every 3hrs for 20secs. Not sure if it’s fresh/rain water or…"
