Witnessing the night sky transform into daylight continues to be magical. It only gets better when the viewing itakes place with someone who initiatates a rendevous at my favorite spot on the boardwalk in Indialantic. Just north of Melbourne Beach on the east side of the Intracoastal Waterway is this sleepy little town. Not known for much other than surfing and as a gateway to other beach resorts, this square mile town boasts a quiet 1/4 mile boardwalk, two coffee shops, an ice cream parlor, a cuban sandwich shop and the infamous Bizzarro's pizza.
Anyway, this morning's coffee and chat where the ocean meets the shore was a pleasant change from my usual jog on the beach. It presented a time for quiet contemplation as I arrived early enough to soak in the starry sky before conversation competed for my attention. As always time at the beach enlightens my thoughts and inspires great deeds.
From this pleasant day's beginning to my evening's end I am transformed into a state of weirdness. When I arrive home anxious to blog about my beautiful morning there is a message from a fellow sea knotter saying they have vital information to share with me. So, I click on their avatar to find I need to be friends before I can view their profile. That is weird to me. Perhaps my life is too much of an open book. Perhaps I say too much. I don't know, it just seems weird that someone would want me to contact them, but not share who they are. Sounds scamish. Speak up Stella,,, what's on your mind?
