Thankfully Beryl gave me an extra day. The best part was spending a couple of hours with Joan, Pat, and Amy.
Returning to Spray I proceeded to spend about five hours organizing the tool bins. There is still a lot to do.
Taping all the ring dings, buying batteries, flares and fresh produce along with packing my clothes are the main tasks. Whoops, my 0300 alarm just went off. This is when I miss Danny because the romantic side of my brain lhoped the soothing ringtone was a call from a certain someone. The reality is I need to get some sleep and quit thinking about boys. After all, there is a good chance I will sail off on Wednesday. Yikes, that is only 27 hours away.
Ideally I will leave at first light, my favorite time of the day. While that may be the best time to leave as long as I can get six hours of daylight sailing I believe I will be ready for my first night at sea. Finally I am dozing off now. So ta-ta til we meet again!
