Hi Terry, thanks so much for all the info. Such "local knowledge" is hard to come by. We're planning to get under way by early next week, if the weather looks good. Meantime, Mike's busy prepping the boat, and I'm looking at provisioning. Talisman, our Pearson 365 ketch, is at slip 123 in Marina Beau Chene. We bought it from someone last year who passed on the slip. He mainly lived on the boat and we're having to make some changes to suit our lifestyle. In fact we had some work done at Seabrook not too long ago. Hope to bring it to the southshore, maybe when Southshore Marina is operating. This will be our first trip outside the Lake but we're looking forward to the adventure of it all. So I don't know if we'll see you before we leave. But we'll be sure to look you up and tell you all about our grand initiation. I'm sure we'll be hooked on coastal cruising. Hope to make it to the Bahamas by Fall, or sooner...

Thanks, Terry. Much appreciated info. We see that you've been to both Mexico and the Bahamas. Sounds great! We also want to get to the Bahamas sometime. And we've both been to Mexico a lot, even though on land (LOL). If you ever want to talk and share some of your stories, that would be great. Gina & Mike Sibley
