Love sailing, cruised Pacific Northwest, mostly SE Alaska most of my life and dream of sailing the world. Volunteer and teach sailing at Center for Wooden Boats ( CWB.org ) and we have a Fuji 35 ketch that is now better than new.

Advice/Experience/Suggestions for Bareboat Charter in the San Juan Islands We are looking into a sailing vacation in the San Juan Islands this summer, and I would really appreciate any knowledge, information, pros & cons, you might have of the charter companies, sailing in the area, good anchorages, weather and temps in June vs. summer prime season, etc. .... anything ;) Thanks.

I'm headed for my first cruise from Seattle to Glacier Bay, Alaska.....do you have any pointers????? Plan to depart Aug. 14 from Chinook Landing Marina, Tacoma, WA Will be sailng a 41 ft Islander (ketch) (draws 5'2") Paln to go up the inside passage and return outside. Would love to hear any suggestions.
