well..i like the ole Columbia just fine ...although its going to be awhile before she sails regular again ...have several repairs to make on her since Hurricane Ike visited. At least I still have her I suppose ....thanks for the visit.

You know it could swing in and store on that wall? The odd shape triangle on port could be where it bifolds? This has been discussed by so many with no clear answers.

The frame could go on the outside..see picture..I'd like it to bifold and swing to starboard. a lock on inside.

Rich, so you are an artist too??? great. I need a companionway wooden door...I don't like the 2 slip ins all the time. My opening is strange...I will post it here for you...As to your trip, I would join you from Topsail to Myrtle Beach...as en experience...we could discuss. How much would you charge me for a door?

rich, thanx for comment that was really nice. boat carpenter huh??? i wonder if i could bother you with some ideas on projects i'm in the middle of. 1st i would like to commend anyone that can work with the uneveness and angles of a boat to try and fit wood structures on them.
