Profile Information

Profile Type:
Sailor
Homeport:
St. Augustine
About Me:
Well I've been living and sailing on Krasna (a 40' S&S ketch) for eight years now. Krasna my boat is in Grenada and I'll be back there soon. Taking some time to visit friends and stuff in the states.

I used to be a photojournalist that covered wars and social issues in South America and Europe then sold my photo agency, bought a boat and am a cruiser now. I wouldn't mind stopping for awhile. I'm getting a bit bored with it and want to try my hand at a garden and and fixing up an old house.

Lee
Current location:
St. Augustine, FL
Destinations visited:
The US East Coast (Maine to Florida), Bahamas, Belize, Caribbean from Bahamas to Grenada, The Adriatic, Greece, river sailing in Europe, little bits in Calif. and Washington State.
Looking to:
Go cruising again. I've taken the year off and I'm ready to get back on the move again. I haven't decided where I'm going. Virgin Islands, Cuba, Panama Canal to the South Pacific. I'm open to suggestion.

Hi Lee,

work and anchorages are available in the USVI. Good people with good skills can find jobs, especially since it is "busy season" and owners who are not here want their boats tended to/fixed up and ready to go. Recently False Entrance has been designated a 'no anchoring' area by the local govt. I am not living aboard at this time, going sailing with friends and looking to race this season, which is only through April here.
