Just started a blog about West Coast Boating. ww.westcoastboatinglife.com The title is Underway-Reflections on the Boating Life. Fairly new to boating but love it love it. Our boat is a 2 year old 27ft Bayliner Treazure. Just want to share our adventures, triumphs, and mistakes as we cruise along. Lived for awhile in the Caribbean and want to retire there in a few years on a live aboard. Here's hoping.

Meet and share info with fellow cruisers, We are heading North to Desolation Sound this summer, info for this trip would be appreciated. I enjoy reading about other's experiences.

Hello Kalena,
our marina is located on the Ottawa River, however, since we have a trailer sailor and we're close to the great lakes we can tow the boat around. Lake Nippissing, which lies east of Lake Huron is also do-able as are the smaller lakes in our area.. too many to mention.
Those waters can 't compare to Desolation Sound but the waters are warm during summer and there's a lot of swimming and snorkling to enoyed.
